SFBay CAPR provides a single coordinated voice dedicated to preserving and protecting property rights in the Bay Area. We are dedicated to:
- Informing, educating and training citizens to raise awareness of local and regional property rights issues.
- Advocating a unified voice to provide input to public policy formation processes at the local and regional level
- Promoting legislation to preserve and protect property rights while opposing excessively burdensome legislation
- Reducing regulatory cost of living to ensure that our children will not be forced to move elsewhere to afford their own home
If you believe in our mission, there are two ways to support SFBAY CAPR:
- Become a member (not tax deductible)
- Contribute to the Legal Fund (tax deductible-and all contributions will be used ONLY for activities in the SF BAY Area)
Why become a MEMBER:
Membership gets you counted when reporters or politicians holding hearings ask us how many voters we represent. Membership dues help our local chapter with expenses to keep operating. Join today to show your local chapter leaders they have your support while fighting your local issues.
Why contribute to the LEGAL FUND
The CAPR Legal Fund provides for the education of citizens, politicians, and bureaucrats on property rights issues. Many CAPR donors give to the Legal Fund because Legal Fund donations can be deducted from your federal taxable income. The Legal fund is also used for actions related to legal defense of our property rights. Contributions to the SF Bay Area CAPR Legal Fund will be used only for activities in the San Francisco Bay Area The CAPR Legal Fund is a CAPR affiliated organization that is organized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit so that contributions to it are tax deductible. Please check with your tax adviser since the IRS changes the rules from time to time
