The recent release of IE8 has some compatibility issues with our web site. We are working on the permanent fixes.
While awaiting those fixes you can make IE8 display the site correctly by clicking on its compatibility button which is located between the right end of the address bar and the refresh button.
The button is shown in the graphic screenshot shown below.
