Citizens' Alliance for Property Rights (CAPR) is the umbrella corporation for the three non-profit corporations that make up this organization. CAPR has the members that elect the officers and board of directors that run the organization. CAPR PAC and CAPR Legal Fund have separate officers and directors that are appointed by the main CAPR board.
CAPR is funded by membership dues (individuals - $25, families - $35, companies - $50). The funds collected are spent on items such as office supplies and equipment, recruiting new members, and elections. The hardworking, unpaid volunteers of CAPR have a vision of a time when there will be enough members to be able to have paid staff like the many organizations that work to reduce or eliminate our right to own and use property.
The more members we have the more we can get done and the stronger our voice when we talk to our elected representatives. If you are not currently a member, please send in your membership today. In order to be an officer or director or to vote for those positions you must be a member, so sign up today.
