Washington State Tax Structure Work Group Has Been on the Move - You Are What Will Stand in Their Way!

On Wednesday, September 22, the Washington State Tax Structure Work Group (TSWG) https://taxworkgroup.org/ begins their virtual Tax Town Halls  https://taxworkgroup.org/tax-town-halls across the state, beginning in Eastern Washington with two sessions you can sign up for to listen and Make Your Voice Heard

Though not widely promoted, this legislatively formed work group is made up of state legislators and other government actors meeting with a mission to “identify options to make the Washington State tax code more equitable, adequate, stable, and transparent.”  The beauty of any ideal rests in the eye of the beholder, so make sure you are the beholder if your future viability in Washington State rests in the hands of those pushing taxing structure changes in the state legislature.
